Congratulations to Lakeland on a great season as it finished 22-2. And congratulations to the five senior captains – Caitlin Collins, Leah DiSisto, Tara McGovern, Cassie O’Mara and Chelsea Robinson, who had great years and great careers. Lakeland does not play for a state title this season without these five outstanding players.

Congrats to Lakeland on a great season.
Hats off to the entire team and coaches!!!!!! We love you all!!
ps. You too Pinciaro!!!!
Lakeland had an amazing year after losing so much talent. Making it this far is a huge accomplishment. The 5 seniors were fantastic all season. Williamsville North was a very strong team. Not very often Lakeland runs into a team that can match their offense. #21 was very physical and pushing girls over left and right.
and your team was also very physical. I was at the game and i disagree with that last statement
She got a card for it, I think that speaks for itself. Not taking anything away from them…very solid team and they deserved it.
Tony, thanks for the coverage this year and in the past field hockey season. There are alot of great girls athletes out there and your column helps bring that to light. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!
