This week, i’ll be covering the Ossining at Putnam Valley match on 9/5 at 4:15.
For upcoming weeks, I am open to your suggestions as to which games I should cover. Some matchups clearly sell themselves (like Bronxville/Mamaroneck, Lakeland/Put Valley and Suffern/Nyack later in the year) but others don’t necessarily jump out on paper. If there’s a great storyline involving players, coaches, relatives on opposite teams etc., give me a heads up!
Also, starting the week of 9/16, my weekly notebooks will be running in the paper as well. This gives me an opportunity to keep track of how many different teams are progressing.

I am biased, but I think the Mamaroneck-Scarsdale games should be great this year, and Scarsdale-Rye should be interesting.
By the way, could we get a new poll question up to start the season?
Can you please give schedules and results like it was done on the blog last season? For example: tommow’s schedule, yesterday’s results etc. it is nice to stay updated on other schools.

fhockey dad – I agree about that matchup! In regards to the poll question, for the sake of asking a pertinent question rather than something meaningless and generic, I am waiting for a few games to be completed so that we have tangible results to examine.
