Carmel 2, Mahopac 1: At Carmel Wednesday, Jamie Manecky scored her second goal of the game early on in the second half for the Rams. Courtney Shea scored for the Indians.
Fox Lane 1, Horace Greeley 1: At Horace Greeley Wednesday, Sarah Jane Weill’s goal was assisted by Olivia Green. Alana Fitz scored for Fox Lane. Olivia Harris had nine saves for the Quakers. Keeley Connors had five saves for the Foxes.
Lakeland 4, John Jay-EF 1: At Lakeland Wednesday, Abby Murdock, Steph Scala, Molly Fitzpatrick and Kristen Conroy had goals. Rebecca Bard, Gianna Bensaia and Gab Celentano had assists.
Nanuet 3, Pearl River 2: At Nanuet, Falyn Stein scored the winning goal on a cross from Kiera Young with 11:13 remaining in the game. Megan Fitzgerald scored twice. Steph Levy finished with 18 saves. Maggie Davan scored twice for the Pirates.
Nyack 2, North Rockland 0: At Nyack, Taylor Bertolacci and Nicolette Paletta both scored and Andi O’Sullivan had an assist. Alexis Kydon made five saves. Valerie Nelson made eight saves for the Red Raiders.
Bronxville 2, Pelham 1: At Pelham, Gretchen Richter and Ally Pass each scored and Claire Sargent had an assist. Jill McDermott made seven saves. Chandler Solimine scored off a Caitriona Carey assist and Mary Yost made 21 saves for the Pelicans.
Irvington 2, Ursuline 2: At Ursuline, Lauren Chafizadeh and Ryan McMahon each had a goal for Irvington. Brooke Benarz had two saves. Evie Clapp and Alexis Velardi each had a goal for the Koalas. Danielle Fucci had 22 saves.
Suffern 6, Clarkstown South 0: At Suffern, Sarah Adler had three goals and Nicole Caridi had two goals for Suffern. Syndey Hiller also had a goal. Kaila Cahoon and Alexa Hirschberg combined to make three saves for Suffern. Casie Keegan made six saves for Clarkstown South.
Rye Country Day 6, Masters 0: At Rye Country Day, Clare McClintock had two goals and an assist. Kathleen Curtin scored twice. Melanie Mandell made three saves in the shutout. Olivia Gibson made 15 saves for the Panthers.
Kennedy 1, Hen Hud 0: At Kennedy, Patrice Grande scored a goal. Julie Bauer made three saves for the shutout. Chelsea Hunt made nine saves for the Sailors.
Convent of the Sacred Heart 2, Holy Child 0: At Convent of the Sacred Heart, Maggie Evans and Katie O’Donnell combined for nine saves.
Mamaroneck 6, Scarsdale 1: At Mamaroneck, Hannah Fitzgerald had three goals in a ‘Pink Game’ played to raised money for breast cancer. Katen Seid had two goals. Rachel Brissette had a goal and three assists. Sydney Malsch scored for the Raiders.

While the score did not reflect it, the Scarsdale-Mamaroneck game was actually more competitive than their first meeting. If you looked at the number of corners, shots and general time of possession, you would guess it was a close game. However, Mamanoneck’s penalty corners are impressive (my guess is they went 5/7 or something like that) and that was the difference. From the perspective of a Scarsdale fan, we can only hope we get one more game with the Tigers, in sectionals. Good luck to Mamo the rest of the way. Go Raiders.
Pelham has really stepped up this season. Their game against Bronxville was impressive and they really gave a great Bronxville team a run for their money. They are one to watch.
