You didn’t mention Rye Neck 3, Byram Hills 2. Rye Necks Nickole Morgan, Nicole Miller, and goalie, Elana Hurlbut are having an amazing season! It’s a shame they don’t get much press. This is a great blog, but I would like to see some of the smaller schools get some press. Look at what RN has accomplished in the past two years!
Rye neck has not defeated anyone by more than a goal. You know better than anyone they are no mamaroneck. Just because your daughter plays for them?. Wow big deal. Expect them to go no where
Not Rn Alum, when I post, I use my name, RN ALUM has their own opinion as do you. RN is a great team, with many talented players who deserve recognition for the great season they are having! Fact check, RN has beat teams by more than 1 goal.
Folks, there haven’t been arguments on the blog all season and there’s no reason to start with petty remarks now.
RN Alum – just for your reference, the cover story in the sport sections on 10/16 was about Rye Neck’s win over Pleasantville and I also mention the team in this week’s field hockey notebook.
To date, I have not seen any individual team play in person more than once. (i’m sure that will change during the playoffs) I did this to ensure that I was seeing different matchups over the past 8-10 weeks, including some of the smaller, struggling teams.
I have also encouraged all 45 coaches to keep in touch with me regarding any fundraisers, off the field accomplishments, etc. that their teams and players are involved in.
Thanks. Got your back. Hi Tricia Wishing you bad luck in the sectionals
