Earlier this afternoon, No. 5 Mahopac beat No. 12 North Rockland 3-0. Mikaela DiBello had two goals and fellow sophomore Sarah Quarto added a goal for the Indians, who will play the winner of No. 13 Ketcham and No. 4 Arlington on Monday.
Mahopac faced both of those teams during the regular season and most notably, captured a win over Arlington.
Scarsdale 4, Clarkstown North 0: In a Class A first-round game at No. 3 Scarsdale, Caroline Knapp had three goals. Jordana Cooper scored. Becky Schwartz had five saves in the shutout. Margot Balzer had 15 saves for the No. 14 Rams. The Raiders will host No. 6 Yorktown Monday at 3 p.m.
Yorktown 2, Horace Greeley 1, OT: In a Class A first round game at No. 6 Yorktown, Nicole Quigley had two goals. Bianca Dente had nine saves. Samantha Attia scored for the Quakers. Yorktown will visit No. 3 Scarsdale Monday at 3 p.m.
Fox Lane 1, John Jay 0: In a Class A first-round game at No. 8 Fox Lane, Alana Fitz scored with 1:30 left in the game. Sarah Med had the assist. Keely Connors had five saves for the Foxes. Sarah McMullen stopped five shots for the No. 9 Indians. Fox Lane will play Monday at No. 1 Mamaroneck.
Holy Child 4, Horace Mann 0: At Holy Child Thursday, Liz McCooey had a goal and three assists. McCooey scored 59 seconds into the game, and Erika Hantho scored once in each half. Victoria Rapillo also scored.
