All Section 1 sporting events have been postponed on Monday and Tuesday due to the inclement weather.
I spoke with Section 1 field hockey coordinator Sue Hughes earlier tonight and here’s what she shared:
“The reality is that it depends on what this weather brings,” Section 1 field hockey coordinator Sue Hughes said. “We will see who had grass field and who doesn’t. What I’ve heard is that Section 1 has asked (schools) that have a grass field that’s not playable to try to secure a turf field or go with a double header.”
”In the best case, we will be at the home schools. It could change. If we have schools without power, they can’t play. It’s all up in the air right now.”
