Ursuline continued to make an argument Monday that it’s one of the area’s top teams, claiming win number seven against only one loss with a 7-0 trouncing of Pleasantville.
Quinn Murphy netted four goals for Ursuline.
On the west side of the river, Pearl River upended defending Section 1 champion Suffern 4-2, paced by Courtney Ocasal’s goal and three assists.

Caitlin Murphy had both goals and Maggie O’Shaughnessy had five stops for the Rams.
Fieldston 2, Holy Child 1
Fieldston’s Emily Hamilton and Lily Meyersohn scored and Anya Auerbach made seven saves.
Maddy Fitzwilliam had Holy Child’s goal and Katie O’Donnell had eight stops.
Mahopac 5, Brewster 2
Mikaela DiBello and Sarah Quarto each scored twice and Sarah Lilley once for the Indians. Quarto and Allison Jackson each had two assists and Lilley one.
Ailish Erickson and Ally Ferraro scored for Brewster. Taylor Anderek had an assist and Ava Faitakes made eight saves.
North Rockland 5, Clarkstown South 2
Sam Walker (one assist) and Ellie McGowan each scored two goals for North Rockland and Katie Delango put in one and had an assist. Kaitlyn Gutenberger also had an assist.
Julia Wojciechowski had six saves for North Rockland.
Amanda Heim scored both Clarkstown South goals, one on a Victoria Zanlunghi assist.
Nyack 7, Clarkstown North 0
Taylor O’Sullivan had another highlight-reel day for the Indians with three goals and three assists.
Alanna Falcicchio scored two, Adriana Scala added a goal and an assist, Arleigh Rodgers had a goal and Arielle Rodriguez and Erika Viviano each had an assist.
Caileigh Travers had three saves for Nyack and Rebecca Fliegel had 12 saves for the Rams.
Pearl River 4, Suffern 2
Besides Ocasal, Maggie Davin, Erin Dolphin and Ana Maria Ferrara scored for the Pirates, who now have six wins, and Annie McBride also had seven saves.
Suffern’s Alyssa Sanchez stopped nine shots and Alexa Hirschberg three. Olivia Schember and Amy McNally scored for the Mounties and Casey Macchia had an assist.
The loss dropped Suffern to 4-3-1.
Ursuline 7, Pleasantville 0
As mentioned above, Quinn Murphy found the net four times for Ursuline.
Meghan Lundin, Christina Mills and Lindsey Andreana all had a goal. Andreana also had three assists and Sarah Gies had two.
Ursuline’s Danielle Fucci made seven saves and Amanda Buongiorno one.
Alex Ciarcia stopped seven shots for Pleasantville.
