After Wednesday’s action, it seems there truly might be a balance of power in Rockland County field hockey.
Suffern, which last year drew headlines with its double OT sectional championship win over Mamaroneck, continued to stumble, losing 1-0 to previously one-win North Rockland to fall to 4-4-1.
Meanwhile, in the game of the day, Nyack and Pearl River, which each have six wins, battled to a 3-3 tie.
Westchester powerhouses Mamaroneck and Scarsdale had no problem, Mamaroneck whitewashing Hastings 10-0 and Scarsdale blanking White Plains 7-0.
